If I may offer some advice, be sure the revolver meets your quality expectations; some of the third generation pieces were ill-suited for use. I know from experience...
 
Take a look at what they are going for on Gunbroker to get some idea for pricing. If you can inspect the revolver, by all means do that. I’ve handled and passed over several offerings from other vendors/ manufacturers as well as the Signature Series Colts.
Depending on how much you plan on using it, and how well the current owner has cared for it, and how you care for your equipment, it could last a long time before it needs something replaced or worked on. All things wear and wear out/ break. Some just do it sooner than others.
I have a few Signature Series Colts. I don’t have any complaints. :cool:
