I would ask what's the budget? If your budget is less than a Kibler, go percussion. Kibler or more, go flint.
What I've noticed is that when there's both percussion and flint versions of the same gun, the flint is more expensive, sometimes quite a bit more expensive.
 
I have cap and flint they are both reliable. Cap is simpler flint is more fun to shoot. Whatever you choose buy the best you can afford
 
Anyone else notice this topic is the only posting of a new user? The drift I got was more that of a prepper looking to put something in their safe should all else fail. Based on that premise flint is the better choice.
