I found this saber that said it was from the US Civil War era. I am trying to confirm that. There are no markings on it. It looks like a French briquet, which would explain why it looks like it’s from the napoleonic wars. It is 32.25” long overall and a blade length of 26.5”. Swords aren’t my area of expertise so any help is appreciated.
