Zouave Rifle

I have a replica of a Zouave rifle without a strap. so i need to know were i can get one or how can i make a strap. Can I punch a hole in a Springfield strap or a Enfield strap to make a smaller strap to fit the rifle?

bought one for my zouave from dixie gun works. good quality. also buy a spare rear sight blade if you want to file the notch deeper to lower point of impact.

there is a gent on ebay who sells ZOO straps. He makes em in both leather or canvas....about $12
I like mine.
