I purchased a Zouave replica at a pawn shop. It appears unfired. The only markings on barrel are "ALDER ITALY". Lock is not case hardened, finished black with eagle stamp, possibly defarbed.
Any one seen one like this and know manufacturer?

Oops! Dyslexia strikes again. The barrel is marked "ADLER ITALY-BLACK POWDER ONLY". On right side of barrel ahead of breach plug is C58, 1438, standard Italian proof marks and AN date code. Stock is light colored wood maybe beech. I picked it up for $150.
