Navy arms “buffalo hunter” made by Antonio zoli I believe 1975 production.
58 cal with wedge key for takedown. Nice rifle has percussion cap nipple installed and spare musket nipple in patchbox. Has a few specks of patina in bore that is not rust as patches come up clean and do not grab. More pics available upon request

Hi,
May I say that is one serious hunting rifle.
It will easily tackle anything on this continent, with change to spare.
The one that I had, shot a round ball, 0.580" very well.
I installed a Track of the Wolf single stage set trigger, and that improved shooting scores.
You would think a barrel with that type of rifling, it would only shoot minie balls, but not so.
An over powder wad or card, with a tight fitting linen patch on the ball, and you are in business.
If you don't run a damp patch between shots, the gun will shoot all over the place, and even more so with minie balls.
The round ball just shoots flatter!
I apologise for jumping in on your ad, but I thought my experience with that fine rifle would catch someone's interest.
Best regards!
Fred

Looks like it was re-introduced in 2003 till 2012. You said your rifle is about 1975. Looks good for that old.. will be checking my funds.
Nice blond stock.
Are the nipple threads Italian?

Thanks 8BORE.

I believe it actually is 5/16x24 I could have sworn I bought spare nipples for it when I bought it but I can’t find them anywhere....
I never got around to actually shooting this rifle, I had planned to hunt with it when I bought it but just had a little girl and my range time and hunting times have been cut short lately lol and I need the funds for another project....
