It's about money.
Once a Youtube account/channel reaches 10,000 lifetime views,(from separate computers), the owner can apply for "Adsence"
(and maybe other commercial companies)
And start getting "Ad's attached to their channel.
Once they get "Ad's" they begin adding content that will hook people into watching for 30seconds or longer.
XXX amount of 30sec views pays a rate of 7-8 cents per view.
Pennies make dollars.
So we're basically getting bombed here by folks trying to generate that first 10,000 hits.
Imagine that, folks can sit and keyboard for hours every day joining random sites posting links and actually begin earning money.

Seems that an e-mail address must be given to join (and confirm the message).

Wouldn't it be fun to turn over that/those addresses to a SPAMMER or ISIS fund-raising site. ;-)

Just imagine if they did something useful with that time instead of being obnoxious arswholes trying to trick people into looking at websites. I guess they don't like me because I don't click on their sites.
