I am an old-time, long-time muzzle loader. Started in 1970 when we moved near Friendship, Indiana to start a business. Been burning powder ever since. I reenact the Revolutionary Rifleman but that has been a lonesome pursuit since we moved to Arkansas in 1976. Not much Rev War activity here. But they are still fighting the Civil War. I joined here because many of the good ml discussion forums have kinda faded away over the years. I still belong to several others but only one is very active albiet with a small membership. My rifle of choice is flintlock but I may take up a perc again. I do have a lot of experience and, hopefully, can be a help to others.
