Now if I can figure out how to shoot a flint locksmoothie. There is still some turkey season left.I also had a rifled 54 cal barrel made for it.So's it would reach a bit farther during elk season. It sure is a purty rifle-gun. Now I just have tofigure out where my wife is going to sleep.

That's funny!

Congratulations. Here's to many years of happiness for you two.:RO:

I think you're going to enjoy it. Makes me think I'll have to get mine out and shoot it more often.
Cruzatte :agree:

Congrats:

I got my Wilson a couple of months ago, 20ga, I also got a 50 cal. rifled barrel to go with it. I found that contrary to how I primed with my other rifles, with the Caywood I have to really fill up the pan with powder.

Have fun
Rion

I've had my Caywood Wilson for about two years now. When folks look in the gunsafe, thats the one they want to see. Secondly, they are amazed at how light it is in comparison to what they thought it would weigh.

Unfortunately in those two years I've had little time to get out to shoot it. I'm hoping to change that soon! I've been eyeballing their southern mountain rifles on their website. Hmmmmm......
