i am looking for an older set of Lyman mold handles that will fit and older single cavity .451 Lyman mold. i bought a new pair and they do not fit, Lyman used smaller handles for their old molds and do not make them any more. will buy for $25 or trade for a brand new pair in box of Lyman handles i just got

Try the Lee mould handles that are on the .311 mould I sold you. You will have to drill new holes in the handle so that the Lyman blocks will work. Lee handles are MUCH cheaper than Lyman handles.

Ken:

I have a set of older Lyman Handles that I could add to the .318 mold if you really need them. I don't need your handles, however.

i do not believe ANY newer Lyman handles will fit their smaller older molds.

They used to make 2 sizes of handles, small and large. They haven't made the small in more years than I care to remember nor have they made any molds that require them either. The current, and only, Lyman handles are the ones formerly called large. The small handles can be quite difficult to find and if they are laying alone on a table it's easy to walk by assuming they are just another pair of Lyman (large) handles.
