If anyone is looking for wool knee breeches, crazy crow has them in a crow call flyer I recieved today, look to be of a good quality and what I consider a fair price.

Sissy, just kidden there.😉 They make a cotton type long john skivvies, wore them under kerseys (wool civil war trousers) for years when I reenacted actually very comfortable. As most of those type events were during summer months. Another option is scrub pants like they wear in hospitals. The legs can be cut off at the knee sew a hem in the leg and run a cotton cord through the hem for a tie, works very well.
