I've tried contacting Mr Ellerbe about a knife. His website says hes not taking orders but I dont know how old that notice is. Does anyone know if he's back up and running or not?

He posted here some time back, you might do a search here to see what he said about his work. It seems like he said no, but not really sure on that.

Other way is to send him a PM from here and see if he answers.

Wick, is still taking orders from past customers, but not new work.
He does THE BEST work, and really knows metallurgy.

Very sorry pat i. I developed some health issues, and I cannot see well enough to do very much knife or gun work. Had cataract surgery and all was well for a couple of years, but my left eye has gone extremely blurry and prevents me from having good depth perception. Can't get it fixed just yet, due to the damned virus. I would recommend OLD DOMINION FORGE, Kyle Willyard, for an English trade knife or scalper. His work is excellent and very HC.

Thank you very much Wick and I wish you luck with your eyes. Not being able to see or hear is a gigantic PIA.......and that's speaking from experience in both cases.
