After shooting on the mortar team at the N-SSA Nationals I am now hooked on them. One day I will own one but for now researching them will have to do.

i was reading some items on the north-south skirmishers site (n-ssa .org) and happened to notice this:

the link is to the online version of 'artilleryman magazine' and there is a list of advertisers. so those are known good builders.
you might also want to re-ask your question on the n-ssa / civil war artillary forum.. no cost to join the online discussions.

ps. i have to admit, i'm more attracted to full-sized cannons, but as long as it all goes 'boom' one way or the other, it's alright by me.
