Who makes or made them? I wont be building it myself, and will not buy an Indian reproduction. Other than that, give me some recommendations.
Too bad you're a few days late. A nice Centermark just sold on Track of The Wolf. Keep watching on our classifieds as well as those on the A.L.R. forum, and Track....
Also if you see a gun listed as a "Colonial Fowler with French influence" they are often Very similar.
Also, of you want it truly historically accurate, the stock should be walnut, not maple. The Centermark is maple. Colonial Fowler would be good with walnut, wood from fruit trees, or maple.
