Most people, today, use this butt plate for Isaac Haines style rifle. However, it's good for any early Eastern Pa. rifle that uses a wide PB like an Early Lancaster or John Bivins. If you look up Isaac Haines BP, you'll easily find it. Semper Fi.Is there a technical name or school of rifle for that style butt?
I could comfortably shoot from the bench with that flat butt plate.
