It was yesterday but took the lock off my Miroku Zouave to my neighbor who happens to be a gun builder. He filed some off the sear spring and installed it and the sear. He kept the lock to adjust the tumbler as the main spring would go low when cocked and start to dig into the wood. There is a slight indent in the wood where the lock did this, nothing major. The sear and spring came from Dixie gun works! Highly recommended! Can't wait to shoot it!

Finally got the side plate inlet! Slow going. First build and I chose a highly decorated Jäger with much engraving and carving.

Have to always push myself! Maybe I should start a build thread... so far this is going on 2 years...
Made some Vollkornbrot to go with the smoked venison sausages!

Very nice tedious work. The loaf looks interesting. Is it coated with salt?

No. Loaf is coated with rolled oats. Bread contains Einkorn berries, cracked berries, rye & whole wheat flour. Pumpkin, sunflower, flax, & sesame seeds. Honey, buttermilk, & sourdough starter. Good solid bread!
Easier to make than this Jäger!

Used my drill press to drill out holes in a long strip of plastic that will hold the home made caps for the Primeall application to them. After the caps are loaded with the compound and binder added when dry just flip over and caps easily come off the strip.
