What is this rifle

Hi all, I haven't been here for a while. I have this rifle I built from a Tip Curtis kit. Lefty Haines? or Lancaster? I am asking because I am thinking about selling it so I want to know how to list it.

Well, I don't know what it is but I do know what it is not...
It is NOT ugly.
Dang, that's a nice looking shooter even if someone did put the lock on the wrong side...

I just did some more research and DUH...Issac Haines built Lancaster rifles. So there ya have it.

A beauty. What caliber? I am a lefty and it is a thing of beauty!

50 cal with a green mountain 38 inch barrel. Tip picked a great piece of wood! He also did most of the inletting. I sighted it in at 35 yards and it's been in my safe since.

I'm a lefty that can shoot either way with a muzzleloader. Love that rifle!

That is a great looking rifle!! I really think Tips guns are one of the greatest values in the muzzleloader industry!! Greg
