I got this as a blanket prize at a shoot. I seem to recall seeing this style before, but can't pin it down. The bag measures about 8x10 and is felt lined with linen, as are the straps.

So what era does it represent? F&I? AWI? Something imagineered?

Can o’worms.
Old bags are hard to date, paintings show shooting bags as pretty small, even military rifle bags.
On the other hand painting show some big bags used by folks at times.
I could see that bag as early as F&I Indian used Great Lakes, late as early twentieth century.
I would use it in my camp.
