I went through a whole hide just making up small drawstring bags for balls and assorted small wallets for tools and accessories. Glad I did cuzz they're so useful, and a very good fate for a hide. BTW- I use lots of ball sizes (.290, .310, .350, .440, .445, .490, .495, .530, .535, .562, .570, .575, .600, .610, .690, .735), so all those bags are problematic to track. I used the final scraps to make little tabs with a hole in them which I label and slip onto the lace bag closures.
That final step became necessary when this dummy showed up one time at the range with a bag of .530 balls for shooting a 58 caliber, and another time with .490 balls for shooting a 54 caliber. I learned a whole lot about stacking a bunch of patches for shooting balls too small (yes, it works decently). Far better to label the bags, but I didn't want to write all over my new creations with a black Sharpie!
