I watch old westerns on TV and join In the gun fights with my 58 brasser . Never need to reload. Never lose. And my brasser is heavy. Good for my arms and my attitude.
 
Shoot my self bow focusing on follow through. A lot like holding and shooting a flintlock as follow thru on both matters when it comes to accurate shooting. Drop your front hand and the arrow or ball will follow that front hand. Hold till the target has been hit. Something that after50+ years of shooting I still have to stay on top of.

Great analogy! I shot a 3D yesterday with my English yew logbow and on those shots where my release and follow through were perfect, I was nailing the 10 spot!
 
Muscle tone with practice can and will help one to be a better offhand shooter. I never did any physical exercise in my younger days, except dry fire. I still do dry fire, but my arm strength really went down hill.
This post is wondering what offhand shooters are doing or not doing to prevent gun wobble. If you are using any kind of support or sling, please do not include that type of reply. (Offhand shooting per NMLRA rules)
