Hello, new here, just joined today, have been mostly plains rifle shooter, but just ordered a Pietta 1858 44 cal to play with.

Stumbled on this site, hope to get much info from you good folks.

lots of good info here and many '58 Remmy shooters includeing me. C&B revolvers is what actually drew me into muzzleload guns.
my first bp gun was a kit CVA .50 cal caplock pistol. since then I've smooth bored it for use as a trekking gun to get small game birds with
right handy.
roll up a log to set on and skewer a chunk of meat to roast and palaver a spell.
