Got to the range today for a little wacky shooting. I’m not a filmmaker like BPMS so photographs will have to do.

The gun used today is a Traditions Kentucky, .50 caliber.

Cold anchovy and jalapeno pizza and Coors Banquet, usually for a holiday breakfast!! Mmmmmm

BTW nice rifle and good shooting first time out. That rifle should give ya 3" or better groups at 90-100 yds. Work up a load and report back!!

Thanks azmntman. But this wasn’t the first time out with this gun. It will shoot clover leaf groups a 50 yards from a bench rest but I was shooting off hand all the shots pictured. I don’t know about 90-100 yards cause I can’t see the target that far!😩.

I started using this method a few years ago in a Fusil de Chasse with shot for squirrel hunting. I prefer it for rifle and pistol also because I don’t like greased patches or short starters. Ain’t knocking those that do, it just ain’t fer me.

I call it my hillbilly (HC) correct method.😁

Good shooting for using wasp nest material. If you were using good patch material you would probably be making cloverleafs on the nose of old Tony.
Nice rifle.
Mike
From a bench rest using this method I could definitely shoot old Tony’s eyes out at 50 yards 😄. I prefer to shoot offhand when plinking. I don’t know about 100 yards cause I can’t see old Tony that far!🤣
