Vintage Custom Lock Needs Stronger Spring

Just discovered that a rifle I have has a weak mainspring. Finally put a flint in and it sparks, but does not hit frizzen hard enough to fully throw pan open. Probably above my skill to remedy. Who can fix this?

Jam a piece of leather in the bend of the spring.
