Vincent pin or wedge

On yhe vincent rifles were pins or wedges used on the barrel attatchment?

I used a wedge. If I remember correctly I used a Vincent pattern for the escutcheon as well.

Original Vincents usually had pins.

In looking at pictures of old rifles I every now and then see wedges. I like them. They seem to add a sense of class. Especially the small ones. Not meaning to detract from pins. Just a personal choice/preference.

I agree. I would like to use a pin on my vincent build but never done one. Don't want to mess it up.

Pretty simple. Especially if you have a drill press.

I meant wedge not pin. I've done a few pins but no wedges.
