I really didn't know this pic exisisted of the guns after recovery. It will take until 2007 for the electralisis operation to clean the turret. The next project is to remove the guns and right them. They are currently upside down. Here is the website, with great amounts of information. http://www.monitorcenter.org/ They are building an exact replica of the original Monitor as we speak!

I wasn't really sure this should go in the Civil War area? Many things cross reference! I have been fascinated by Matirime history for many years! I can't wait to see the Monitor they are building :blue: :grey:
