My Tip Curtis made 16 gauge smoothbore has been loaded for 5-6 weeks now, hoping too catch an unsuspecting doe before the session closed..

Well season closed January 7 , and nothing has attacked me in my recliner, so I felt obligated too empty & clean my gun.

Mostly sunny skies today , warm (65f)😎
With winds gusting 10 -15 mph but not steady

The gun has a 44” Colerain barrel, L&R lock & the bore measured.653. Front sight only.

I’m shooting .626 balls with .016 patching..
and 70 grns of ffg Goex.

Target was set at 25 yards & shots fired, standing leaning the foreshock against the side of a small tree..( hunting position)

The 2 low & left were from having a senior moment and not remembering my sight picture..🥴

The next 5 after I realized what was going on..🤣
