For sale is a Uberti Wells Fargo 1849, $250.
It is new in the box, unfired and unaltered.
Will post pictures this weekend.

is it also called the baby dragoon in 31 CAL.? does it have a loading lever?

I'm not sure about the baby dragoon part.
Have heard and seen the name but I don't remember.
About the loading lever, this is the Wells Fargo model with no loading lever.
And the barrel, it's 4".

Photos showing configuration.
The piece is new in the box.

Oily smudges and lighting as far as I know.
But I won't be able to look at it again until Friday though.

My camera has a new ding on the lens (frequent use in metal working areas) that has squirrelly'd up the focus even after a good cleaning. Tried the "smart" phone also but the focus wasn't better.

I have an Italian FIE (with loading lever). It is one of my favorites, a blast for plinking, an excellent ladies and kids gun. They can be surprisingly accurate. If yer lookin for one I'd grab it!

Wiped down the oil smears.
There are no dings or discoloration areas on the metals.
And my camera isn't delivering any better photos.

The Uberti box is 14" long so going by the USPS size and weight calculator it comes in between fourteen and fifteen dollars.
For our purposes here call it fifteen dollars. That includes lots of cushioning to prevent damage, lots of tape, gas money...

The pistol in the photos is a copy of a Colt Wells Fargo 1848. The 1849 version had a loading lever on it. The 48 was loaded by taking the wedge out and pressing the ball in with the cylinder pin. I've been playing with cap and ball revolvers for going on 50 years now. This is a good buy....I'm surprised that someone hasn't snapped it up yet. I would have but have a 2nd series Colt 48 already. They make great little pocket pistols. Just my 2 cents worth.

Hi Zonie.
To answer your questions...
I'd looked for a means of closing myself and didn't figure it out. Might list the piece elsewhere.
Thanks,
HIb
