I bought a patch knife from Two Feathers and I like the antique appearance. The antiqued stag horn handle and the "aged" steel really sets it off. The knife is sharp with a good edge, but I did make a few swipes on my Arkansas black stone and honed it on my leather strop with rouge. It's almost too sharp! The sheath is also nicely done with the artificial sinew. I was originally intending to sew it on to the strap of my hunting bag, but I believe I will keep it as a neck knife.

I'm sorry you had to sharpen the knife? I thought it was very sharp when I shipped it? Guess not?

I did mean to make it sound like your knife wasn't sharp, it was. All I did was hone the edge a bit. I hope you weren't insulted, not my intent.

Nah...we're good. I WAS a little concerned since I never had anyone say that before? Usually they complain that my the knives are sharper than they can get theirs and that annoys them. ;)

The knife is so sharp now, I could cut the tips of my fingers off and not even feel it!
