I am a pretty fair woodworker, but I do not think I would have the patience for that. Absolutely great workmanship. I really like the carriage wheels you have made.
Wow! These are amazing. I have often had the thought of doing something like this but I don't think I could have done anything close to your skill level. The patina on the brass mortar looks very authentic. Nice work, as has been said you are truly an artist.
Not only is the design and machining amazing, the finish (Paint?) is a real work od art, Michangelo

truly great workThe bronze 1/2 scale 10" mortar was meant to replicate this one in the Spanish Fort in Saint Augustine, Florida. Mine is 1/2 scale with a 5" bore.

Did you source the wheels or spend a few hours watching Engles coachworks on YouTube? Beautiful stuff. I'm always interested in where these things end up? Museums, clubs, somebody's house?
