I know that poor Skychief has a couple of weeks before he can blast a gobbler, but some others have to have had some success. Stories and don’t go light on the details or pics, please.
You’re welcome, but truthfully, I live vicariously through the stories you and others tell about your hunts....Bless you TG for thinking of me! Longest two weeks of the year.....
Yes I can see your and others point of view but videos on Turkey hunts do not help the shooters reason when you see a shooter hiding behind a turkey tail calling a turkey jock and when at 5 yards and less away blowing its head of ,that to me is not a sporting shot or a wise bird will not help the sport.Feltwad, the turkey is one of the most difficult animals there is to hunt, he is very woods wise and eye sight that would put a bird of prey too shame, Yes a driven bird hunt is on my bucket list, but too test your real skill match wits with a turkey. Never a more noble bird to inhabit the timber.
Troy,Are Turkey season is not until may 1st, hope there still around by then. Hope to use my 15ga underhammer.
Troy,
While we/you’re waiting for waiting for that opening day, I’d appreciate seeing a picture of that underhammer, and I’d wager I’m not the only one.
Season hasn't started here yet. 3 weeks to go I think. Then the real sport becomes finding time to go and a place to go. What used to be my best places are now overrun with other "hunters."No one has shot a turkey this spring?
C’mon you layabouts- seasons Are open and the Toms are gobbling!
Sir if that remark referred to me then I must say I am not but a true sportsman and just quoted what the opinion most shooters would think who watched the video .Yes I am angry when people take someone's opinion the wrong way and call him names.Pretentious,,,,
Snob.
Hmm, does snob rhyme with.....
Or close enough?
You just have to love the little wasp-waists on those under hammers. How does she shoot? My camera is terrible so sorry lol. It's a early numrich h&a 30" round barrel bore is about . 677
