I have a REDavus #6 double set triggers. The rear trigger I would like to straighten for better comfort fit. Question is can I heat just the area I want to straighten quickly with aceyt, oxy torch and straighten it and not damage the rest of the trigger? Maybe put a good heat sink on the rest of the trigger.

Ok it's cold and snowy would be a good day to do the trigger but would like to know first if heating like I said above damage or weaken the metal in the rest of the trigger.

I doubt it would hurt anything, but Im not a metallurgist. Why not take the pin out, remove the trigger part that you want to bend, then reharden it when done?
I really doubt it would require that though, just heat the area required and be fast with the bending.
