2nd time shooting the traditions trapper .50 cal pistol, raised the rear sight a little bit then it was right on the money at 15-25 yards. I even hit the steel gong at 55 yards from a tripod. Fun afternoon doing some target shooting. .25 grains Swiss 3F 0.15 patch and 490 round ball. I tried 30 grains of pyrodex and the point of impact was the same as Swiss at 25 yards. Might do a woods walk with this pistol. I'll post pictures of my targets

Darn good shooting! I've been very happy with the reliability and accuracy of my Trapper. I use about the same load. Some folks don't like the trigger guard but I find it helps with a steady, consistent grip.

Good for you! The Trapper is a great pistol. As is the Pioneer is you can find one for sale.

Very nice shooting. The trapper seems to be very accurate so it brings out the best in a shooter.
I see for a pair, one being a flintlock. I agree you have it dialed in nicely.

I'm not real accurate with mine but I don't blame the gun. I always shoot it from a one handed duelers stance and enjoy it regardless of whether the shots are on the mark or not.
