Beautiful 50cal percussion gun in near new condition. Couple stock blems that don’t even show in the pix and one boogered screw slot from perfect. Ramrod spring was loose in the barrel channel & thhe front lock screw slot is marred. Just a guess but, likely it flipped over when they had the barrel off & they couldn’t figure out flipping it back over so they took it out. Beautiful, shiny 1 in 66 twist bore is perfect. Small piece of plastic tube on the nipple for dry fire purposes.

Do I read that correctly? The rod spring is missing.

No. It was laying loose in the barrel channel. My guess is it flipped over & was too complicated for them to figure out to just flip it back so they removed it. It's back in & working properly now but in the process of removing it they boogered up the screw slot a bit. Tried to show it in the pix.
