Well, my Crocket rifle, I mean my wife's rifle finally arrived and I'm pretty pleased with it. Can't wait to get out this weekend and try it out. Now I just need to figure out the right powder load, round ball, and patch combo. I was excited when I saw the fitment of the parts-to-stock job the factory did. I was actually expecting a few subpar areas on the inletting, but they did a good job. I did find one small nick on the left side that I can touch up with some walnut stain.

We are going to try her out today and see if we can get it on paper. I figure about 20 grains of 3F swiss to start with.
