New Kit Carson Hawken kit from Track of the Wolf. 36", 54 caliber barrel has the sight dovetails cut in, breech plug installed and rib installed. Upgraded fancy maple stock. All of the smaller parts including the necessary drill bits are in an unopened bag. This kit plus gunsmithing already done is a little over $1200 from Track and some of the parts are on backorder. $850 plus shipping. I am looking for a similar kit or rifle in flint and would consider trades.

The kit is complete, what I meant was that if you ordered from track now they are backordered on a few parts. I need to figure out how to edit the original post.

I just wanted to remove “ and some of the parts are on backorder”. May as well change the price to the new $800 as well. THANKS!!

You only have a brief amount of time after you post something to edit it. After that, only a moderator can change things.

Because these ad's are posted just like any other post, my suggestion, if someone wants to change their original offering or its wording is to do exactly what you did here. You added a post to clarify the original ad.
We now know the parts are not on back order now and you have revised the asking price.
