Hi, I just purchased a Thomson center arms 36 cal. Muzzle loader rifle, and I was wondering if someone could help me find out if there's anything missing, and what certain features are for...

I was also wondering if you could tell me how old is it? There's a "2389" stamped on the side of the barrel...

It seems to be in great shape, but all I know is that it came from the Midwest. Any information would help, thank you...
JC.

You have a 36 TC Seneca it appears that someone painted the barrel and lock plate flat black but appears to have all of its parts. If the rifling is not pitted too badly they usually shoot very well. I just listed one for sale.
