Beautiful Thompson Center Hawken 45 cal Muzzleloader. The beautiful walnut stock is in very good condition - nice grain, hand-rubbed oil finish, no cracks or splits but has a very small scratch above patch pocket that pretty much disappeared when applying oil. Blued octagon barrel In very good condition with a little very minor pitting near the nipple (see photos), the bore is in great shape. 1:48" twist, 28" long barrel works well for both round ball and conicals. I opted not to polish the brass but it has a very nice patina.

Goodness ... I'm certainly turning out to be a soup sandwich this morning! I bought this last minute from a blackpowder store my dad's friend owned and was going out of business. Had no clue the model so I just tried matching it up on google after all these years sitting in my safe.
