All:

My new TC flintlock and RB barrel are here. The lock fits, but it is very tight in the mortise. The barrel fits, sorta. It's about 1/8 in. high at the forend. TC sent a new tang with the barrel, so I'll probably have to install it.
Can't hardly wait to see how it shoots.

So you bought a new flintlock to replace a percussion lock? And a new barrel, or did you buy a whole new rifle? Olson

I'm converting my TC Renegade from percussion to flintlock. I'll probably have to sand a little on the edges of the lock mortise and install the new tang that came with the barrel. I'm going to take her out for a test drive this weekend.
