One of my favorite movies, and being in the ozarks it’s nice to see a story set during the reign of terror that infected this area during the late unpleasantness.
Ride with the devil- woe to those that live on, was another good one. Blessed are the peace makers by John Smith a limited edition book was also a good work on that time.

I always thought the Colt 1851 Navy was THE gun to have. Its still a beauty, but after seeing Josie Wales' guns I gotta get me at least one.

Eastwood said he "hoped it found and audience". I believe this movie did.
One of my favorites, along with Dances with wolves, and JJ of course!
We got us the Josey Wales! We got us the Josey Wales!
Well Mr. Carpet Bagger, we got something around this territory called a Missouri boat ride!
You gonna, pull them pistols, or whistle Dixie?

Have to watch the movie again to see the guns. Thought they were walkers
Yes, two Walkers, one on each side, a 1860 Army tucked in belt, and a 1849 Pocket in breast pocket holster! Josey was armed to the teeth! Interesting side note, lots of 1873 Springfield Trap Door rifles in the movie, not converted yet at the time period of the movie. There were also Richard Mason conversions used by Lone Watti, and Little Moonlight. IIRC.

One of my top 3 favorite movies, the others being Open Range and Last of the Mohicans. The Shootist, Tombstone, Dances With Wolves, and Wyatt Earp get honorable mention.

Once upon a time in the west another spaghetti western.

The magnificent 7 was good

Quigley down under was good although not the typical western like have been listed

Really?, those were Walkers? I could have swore they were Dragoons. I knew that one was a 1860 Army. Any way those were some kind of cool looking guns. NowI'm even more impressed than before!
