Caught "The Crossing" last night starring Jeff Daniels on Verizon cable. Haven't seen it in a long time, but well worth a repeat. One of the finest American Revolution movies, in my opinion, done by Hallmark, and very appropriately aired on Christmas night. It tells the tale of Washington's surprise attack on Trenton. Forget who wrote the book, but it was a great read as well.

Just posting to say thanks to both of you. Had never seen or heard of it. Watching it now

this is a lucky find for me; I just ran into that on amazon dot com, and was wondering if it was any good. There are just so few movies of the whole era, from 1650s (except witch trial stories :cursing: ) to Lewis and Clarks western romp.

you can watch it on youtube for free.

Good movie but i didnt like how it just ended the way it did. Kind of felt like a cliff hanger.
