Sounds like you might need a punch and small hammer to get your sights aligned with POI.
Im a fan of short rifles/carbines/musketoons, they are really handy in the brush.

The Tennessee rifle imported by Traditions is manufactured in Spain by Ardesa. It is a good rifle to start, as it weighs little. In Spain it is only sold in 45 caliber, because 50 caliber is sent to you, Americans. With the new flint lock that Ardesa makes, that rifle also works very well. It is ideal for hunting in wooded areas at not very long distances. Greetings from Spain.
I have two Tennessee rifles one flint one cap they're both good shooters very light weight and handy.
