I have used this sight on both my TC renegade with a Green Mountain drop in barrel and on a Cabelas Hawken made by invest arms. I used existing tapped holes, but if I remember correctly I could only use 2 holes and the ones that did line up were different from rifle to rifle. To plug the unused hole I just cut the head off a matching screw and super glued it in the unused hole on the sight.

Haven't used the one from the fine folks at The Gun Works, but have used essentially the same sight from The Hawken Shop. Works great and easy to install.

Sorry to bring up such an old thread but I am also looking at this sight. Is this a better sight picture than the factory Thompson center rear sites? I am not having much luck seeing with them LOL .
