Thinning the herd again. This TC New Englander I traded for a while back and never shot until this am. It's .50 cal, in great shape, no cracks, sling attachments, tasco 3x9, fire sights, replacement unbreakable ramrod. Typical TC accuracy, great little deer gun! Load was 60grs Goex 3f with a lubed ballet. 12" Pizza cardboard was 5 shots open sights 50yds distance, wiping between shots. $300 plus actual shipping. The blemish in front of the lock screw is where the finish coat was damaged by tape. The Tasco scope is a freebie with nice see thru mounts but if I were going to hunt with it I'd put a Nikon on it. Group is without any sight adjustment aiming at the 2" orange dot. The scope was a little better 3 shot group about 2.5".

Hello,
To comply with ad regs, please post an additional photo of the rifle with a card or piece of paper showing your screen name and the date of the photo, thanks.

And for folks reading this ad...,
Sale of a traditional muzzleloader with modern optics does not violate Forum rules, so please don't message the Moderators on this, thanks.

This rifle is a great little thick woods hunter, short and quick handling for black bear, deer, moose, elk. The gentleman I traded with took an elk out west with it! $280. plus shipping which has been between 26.00 and 40.00 bucks. I will break down to ship to keep shipping reasonable. UPS will be shipping so you must have an actual physical address, no PO box. Must be legal to ship to your door. Thanks

I'm curious about the barrel being drilled and tapped.
Do you know if someone did it or was it factory done?
I have seen a few that were drilled all the way into the barrel.

I think it was factory but not 100%, when you look down the bore it's bright and shiney and I can't see any evidence of drill thru.
