Taxidermy in northwest Pa.

Does anyone know of a good taxidermist in northwest Pa. I hunt in Elk and Forest counties and had what I think is going to be a bad experience this year.

I shot a beautiful coyote and the story behind the hunt and the shot were special so I wanted to get it mounted. I asked the local butcher and he said "bring it to me, I have a guy ..........." I took him my coyote without checking the guy out and now he has my yote and the stories I am hearing about this guys work are making me ill. His web-site has pictures that made everyone but me laugh out loud!

Go get it from the taxidermist. You might give up a deposit though. Jeff Crawford in St Mary’s is an excellent taxidermist you can try but I think limits his intake. He could refer you to someone in that area I would think.

If he started on it already...... oh well.

Not sure if you want to venture up to Sugar Grove, PA (Near Warren, PA), but Buckhaven does amazing work.

He does very nice work.
