Looking at the Pedersoli Jäger Target but I don't know a lot about them or even what is out there. My shooting will be limited to 100 yards and the rifle could be used to hunt with as well. It's my understanding that the Pedersoli Jäger can be swapped between flint and percussion by changing the lock, that's seems cool. What do you guys recommend.
Thanks,
Paul

To change between flint lock to percussion lock, first remove the lock. Second remove the touch hole. Third install the drum wit a dab of antiseize grease on the threads so the nipple is pointing is pointing up. Fourth install the percussion lock. Last align the nipple with the cavity in the hammer.

It's best to get the percussion lock gun first so the lock drum and nipple are properly oriented. Touch hole installation is much easier than aligning the drum and nipp.

OZZ , to my mind , what someone else thinks of your "possibilities" of a muzzle stuffer , is a moot point !! I personally like my Pedersoli .36 cal frontier rifle , my .32,.36,.45,.50,.56 T.C. rifles !! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder !! The rifle you are considering sounds cool , but then again , MY money is not going into it . Pedersoli does ,however , make some fine weapons !! Purchase the one YOU like , learn it's nuances , give it proper care and feeding , and you will be a happy camper . . . er , shooter !!
