Just getting a chance to shoot the T/C Renegade I bought off the forums some time ago and love it.I have no interest in deer hunting but the wife is seriously trying to talk me into hunting turkey on her parents farm. Do they make a smooth bore barrel for that rifle? I didnt think you could really do shot from a rifled barrel.

You can still find .56 cal smoothbores for them, and occasionally an aftermarket .62 smoothie as well.

I replaced my original Renegade barrel with a Green mountain drop-in barrel. Recently, I had the original bored out to a 62 caliber (20 gauge) smoothbore. If you can't find a T/C smoothbore barrel but can get an old Renegade rifled barrel, you might try that. It would likely be less ecpensive than a complete gun.

It's looking like it would be a lot cheaper. Was just in a gun place today that I really liked and they do work. Have to ask them if they can do that with a barrel.
