Howdja git a .54 cal T/C Hawken ?

AFAIK, the .54 was only available in the Renegade.

I had the .54cal Hawken in caplock, then later in Flintlock...hunted them for a lot of years
 
That is a great white oak and yes that is a 54 cal. Hawkin. My uncle bought it years ago. Sometime in the 80's. He just put it together a few years ago and wanted to sell it. I got lucky and had the first chance to buy it for what he had in it. Great deal and a great gun. Would love to have a flinter too.
 
Yes I'm blessed with good hunting. Been in my family since 1854.
 
Nice gun... .54 cal is the ultimate...that oak needs another 100 yrs...hard to find many left over here in PA...there are some and it's so cool to sit and rest against a tree that has seen so much history! :v
