Today I bought a T/c Hawken 50 cal that has carvred Eagles on the forearm and a Buffalo on the cheek piece .I cant fine one like it on internet .It looks factory Anyone know what Edition it might be Thanks In Advance

As far as I know there was never a carved model produced. TC did have a custom shop called Fox Ridge Outfitters (I think), perhaps someone had the gun custom carved, then again it was probably someone with some skills that carved their rifle because that is what they wanted.

THX If that is the case that someone had great carving skills . I already have one in 50 and I also have a Green Mountain 45 cal drop in barrel .I think I will put the Green Mountain on this stock and then it will have a home

In the 1970's the gun shop at Silver Dollar City would sell T/C Hawkens or CVA Mountain rifles with such fanciful carvings. These are not factory offerings. Well carved and artfully executed, but in my opinion really don't add value to the rifle.

THX ALL I most likely will never sell it it has very mice relief carving so I will just enjoy it.

got it done
