I have a Uberti 1860 Army that is about 7 years old that I want to put Uberti Navy grips and frame on. The Army grips are a little too long for my hand to operate comfortably.
If they can even be had, with the scarcity of everything, what parts do I need to order ( to include any different screws ), and how much hand fitting is involved?
Any recommended parts dealers besides VTI? Have not had any problem with them, just asking in case I have to make several calls to get all the parts I need.

Have there been any dimensional changes over the last few years with Uberti that I need to know about when ordering parts?

I’m a little hesitant to change anything on the gun-it works flawlessly after I replaced the nipples and tweaked a couple of little things inside the action.

The screws that attach the grip components to the frame itself are compatible between the Army and Navy grips. Only the screw at the bottom of the grip (typing the backstrap and triggerguard together) will be different, the Army using a wider screw head.

Try VTI gunparts...
