This is a comparison of the cost of swaged balls vs cast based on current prices from Cabelas and lead from Rotometal. You can find swaged for less and lead cheaper, but this is a rough guide for cost. If you don’t have equipment you have to figure that. I started out using a curling iron mold and a coffee can on a gas stove.
Based on $3.00 per lb for lead Rotometal.
